We like to think that Glorcroft’s dedicated workforce is one of the best in the business.
We pride ourselves in providing local services for local people. Because most of the team have worked together for many years, our crews are already established and ready to go.
You’ll see consistent faces during the life of the project, which means you get to know the same crew week-in, week-out.
What’s more, everyone who wears the Glorcoft uniform is properly vetted and inducted. By the end of this year, we expect all of our operatives to be registered under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, which is fast-becoming standard within the industry.
Our long-serving employees – many of them second generation apprentices with the company – have made a major contribution to our knowledge bank at Glorcroft.
We’ve been working for Basildon Council and residential landlords for 18 years and during that time, our crews have carried out hundreds of housing projects in the district, building an excellent track record of success.
As a result, we know most of the local housing stock inside out and, because we’re based here, there’s no excuse about getting lost on the way to a job!
We’re also working with the National Skills Council and various NVQ centres throughout the country to ensure the knowledge and skills of our workforce are regularly reviewed, refreshed and updated.
